Casting Grinding Systems

Foundry Casting Grinding

Foundry casting grinding systems play a crucial role in the finishing process of metal castings, ensuring high-quality surface finishes and precise dimensional tolerances. These systems utilize various grinding techniques and equipment to remove imperfections, excess material, and rough edges from castings, enhancing their overall aesthetic and functional qualities. By employing advanced grinding methods, foundries can achieve smoother surfaces, improved performance, and better preparation for subsequent processing or assembly. Ultimately, efficient grinding systems contribute to the overall quality, durability, and competitive edge of casting products in the market.

Cylinder Head Finishing Machine

The castings are automatically loaded onto fixtures on the turntable. The table rotates 180º into the machine, positioning the cylinder head under the grinding units. During grinding the fixture and part are supported from below. While the head is being ground, a finished part is unloaded and a new part is loaded automatically.

Double-Sided Disc Grinding

The double-sided flat surface deburring machine is for grinding crankcases, cylinder heads, gearboxes, etc. The machines can be supplied to grind two or four sides.
