Brett Fisher

Brett Fisher has over 30 years of experience in manufacturing and technical management.  He is currently the President and Managing Partner of Foundry Solutions & Design.  His technical background includes experience as a metallurgist, process engineer, applications engineer, and quality and technical manager.  He brings management experience from roles as a Plant Manager, Director of Operations, Vice President of Operations, General Manager, and Chief Operations Officer prior to being President.  The area’s of expertise include tooling and process engineering, cost and scrap reduction, metallurgical evaluation and development.  His experience has covered a variety of metals, products, and process including aluminum, iron, steel, magnesium and super alloys in sand casting, permanent mold, investment casting, and lost foam.  Products have included precision cast aerospace and defense parts including single crystalline blades, highly complex aerospace magnesium housings and components, large intricate engine blocks and heads, as well as numerous aluminum castings including flight surfaces, critical safety related or structural components and other highly regulated castings.

He is currently on the Board of Directors for the American Foundry Society in Schaumberg, IL and has served as a Board Member of the Wisconsin Cast Metals Association and the AFS Northeast Indiana Chapter where he served as Chairman.  He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing Technology from the University of Northern Iowa.
